关于国际与全球研究项目

国际和全球研究项目提供了机会，把 几个传统学科的知识与人际关系的焦点有关 以及跨越国家和文化界限的问题.  太阳城棋牌大全的项目服务于学生 寻求理解各国对所面临挑战的不同看法 当今全球化的社会.

项目目标为:

• (a)了解与国际体系有关的关键争议问题;
• (b)学习与之相关的中心文化、经济、历史和政治概念 国际体系的研究;
• (c)具备至少一门现代外语的能力;
• (d)能够就国际问题进行学术研究并提出研究结果;
• (e)完成至少一个与国际相关的体验式学习活动.

学生可以选择全球研究或区域研究.

研究领域: 区域研究学生可以选择一个专门研究的地区:非洲、亚洲、欧洲、 拉丁美洲或中东.

全球的研究: 全球研究专业的学生将获得以下领域之一的功能性专业知识 强调.

冲突、和平与人权: 包括研究历史和当代的原因和后果的国际 冲突和维持和平努力，包括武装和非武装干预和人道主义; 涵盖跨文化理解和普遍人权、种族和宗教 conflict, terrorism and counter-terrorism; explores the role of the United Nations, 国际法与外交.

(二)全球治理 & 政治经济: 探讨经济全球化、国际贸易、消费主义、 international governmental organizations (UN, World Bank) and international law; global civil society, international courts; state sovereignty.
